It was originally serialized online on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website from July 2014 to September 2015, with the chapters later published by SB Creative under their GA Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation by Ryōma Ito began serialization in Square Enix's shōnen manga magazine Young Gangan from February 2020 to February 2021.
